  And it doesn't hurt that they have the best prices in town! The six-pack I buy there for $9.80 out the door is $12.00 at the Strath (still can't figure out the 22.45% extra cost there, especially when they own the building and Liquor Express is paying a lease and probably a percentage to be in the mall)

  Better selection of craft beer than the gov't store down the street. Always receive good service and recommendations from the staff.

  First time I was treated that way in Canada. I forgot my ID and realized it while trying to pay for what I picked. Guy behind the counter was so rude. I'm 15 years older than legal drinking age. And while I understand he has no right to sell it for minors the way he talked with me was terrible. I didn't try to fool anyone and didn't beg for an exception. I looked confused, probably, or lost. I'm usually socially awkward and do shopping with my husband, never ever I've been talked with that intonation. So, if you look like a nice young girl, it's okay to talk to you like you criminal piece of nothing. I'm working in service industry as well and there are no excuses to treat customers this way. To be fair, other staff was great. I'll try to avoid this experience and place too.
