  Secondly, as a whole, this business caters to a crowd that is getting old and dying. Giant AV receivers are what exactly no young people want any more. Compact receivers with a couple of HDMI inputs, and connections for at most 5.1 speaker arrangements would sell far more volume, and yet the staff here have no idea these products exist. Want to find an amplifier for a small home theater sub, like maybe 200W? Nope, best these guys can do is the ferrari option for a thousand bucks. Go on ebay and you'll find 200W amplifier boards for $20.

  Staff here need to learn more technical competency. I was told repeatedly that a subwoofer pre-out could actually power a sub speaker. The staff do not know the difference between a low voltage audio signal and what it takes to make a speaker move. With that said, the difference between an amplifier and an AV receiver was not well understood.

  Not long ago I went to visions electronic in langford and got a offer for them to build me a sound system for my 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT and they gave me a offer and I said yes. Two weeks later they ordered the wrong parts and could not get any of the other parts on time so I request a full refund. One week later I decided to go to Madman McKay's and WOW these guys knew what they were doing. Took them a few days and got the parts on time, took them a few hours to install, and worked great. The only problem was the usb but that is being fixed. Thank you so much and will be using my business again.
